Participatory performance that from the very first moment pulls the audience into the atmosphere of waiting rooms, corridors, and improvised checkpoints. These are the in-between spaces where ordinary situations are subtly fractured by absurdity or unexpected interventions, revealing both the anonymizing and the controlling nature of familiar structures — from the post office and public administration to medical examinations and corporate meetings.
We are preparing a series of “waiting-in-betweens”: delicate interventions in space that evoke familiar patterns of behavior (waiting, filling out forms, anticipating an examination…), but gently disrupt them with misplaced details and ambiguous instructions. The audience finds itself in a situation where orientation is (im)possible — much like when one is navigating a real-life system that provides no clear directions or answers, yet somehow expects you to already know them.
